Last saturday saw our first outing in the Monaghan underage development blitz. The team travelled to Clontibret and although the weather conditions were a bit of a let-down, the camogie did not disappoint. The team gave a great performance and are looking forward to the remaining blitz matches and their competitive outing in the Louth league later this Summer. Underage camogie is being developed in Inniskeen and credit to the mentors and parents for giving their full support. Underage camogie training continues on Wednesdays at 7.15pm.
Our Senior team played St Brides in the Louth league last week and came away with a valuable 2 points. One of our loyal young supporters, Sarah Deery, had an unfortunate accident at the game and we wish her a speedy recovery. Please check on Teamer for upcoming fixtures. Training continues on Monday and Wednesday in preparation for the Championship which commences in August.
