A disappointing result last Friday night as the Championship kicked of. Both Inniskeen and Castleblayney travelled to Killanny to begin the Championship season. An exciting first half opened with both teams taking scores from all angles and some very tough outfield play. Inniskeen seemed on form, attacking the forward line with every ball and at the half time whistle Inniskeen sat behind with 0-06 points to Castleblayney's 1-06. However in the second half, although Inniskeens best efforts were thrown at Castleblayney's defence, it was Blayney that left with the win! Hard luck to the girls but the seaon is not over yet as we meet Truagh in the next round.

Next game on Tuesday night at 7pm in Inniskeen v St Annes (Louth League) All players are asked to attend.
