Senior:
A very competitive game took place on Tuesday last as both Inniskeen and Clontibret togged out for the next round in the Monaghan league. Both sides wanted to secure the points on offer but only one team could walk away with them in tow. Inniskeen proved the stronger of the two and in the first half they crept away with a one point lead heading in at half time. In the second half both teams were out on the attack and for a while Inniskeens defence were under pressure. But they stood strong and hard work seen them keep the Clontibret forwards at bay. Inniskeen fought for every ball and this determination paid off in the end as they came away with a final score of 1-06 to 0-06 points. This means Inniskeen are still in the running for the league title. All players to check teamer for game and training updates.
