Camogie Notes

Senior Team: 
Our senior camogs continued their winning ways when they overcame St Kevin's in the third round of the Louth League last Thursday evening in Philipstown.  Inniskeen were ruthless in attack and had notched up 2.03 without reply in the opening 10 minutes. St Kevins responded with a couple of points but it wasn't enough to threaten our girls who went from strength to strength to finish out comfortable winners by 4.08 to 4 points.   

Team: Mairead Monahan, Louise McArdle, Edel Kieran, Roisin McKenna, Josie Fitzpatrick, Sharon McGahon, Issi Kieran, Carmel McSkane, Julianne Finnegan, Kathy Deery, Martina O'Connor, Sinead Comiskey, Gillian Hamill. The next game is against Mattock Rangers of Collon  on Friday 8th May in Grattan Park at 7.00pm. Training continues every Monday evening at 7.45pm in Grattan Park with Eddie. New faces always welcome. 

Juvenile Training: 
Juvenile training for u6, u8, u10 and u12 continues on Tuesday evening 5th May at 7.15pm. Registration fee of €20 payable on the night. This covers Croke Park fees and insurance. (No fee for u6's) 

All Ireland Minor C Shield Camogie Final: 
Commiserations to Monaghan Minor team who were beaten by Cavan in the All Ireland Minor C Shield Camogie Final that was played in Inniskeen last Saturday. Full time score Cavan 2-6 Monaghan 0-4 

Best of luck to the Inniskeen Grattans in hosting the ever popular Countryfest this weekend. No doubt our country loving gals will enjoy one or two nights entertainment!
