A disappointing loss was had this past weekend, when the Inniskeen ladies failed to take home the Championship cup. A determined Inniskeen side battled the 5 time winners Clontibret in a neck and neck pursuit. However it was 2 lucky goals that pipped Clontibret in front and the lead could not be closed by the Grattans side. Hard luck to all the girls, and a big thank you to Shane and the management team and all the behind the scenes work that has been done.
However that said, all is not over as the Innsikeen Camogs are still in the running for this years league final. One last game against Clontibret will determine if Inniskeen are in a play off situation with Castleblayney or in a straight final with Truagh. Games and fixtures will be set at a later date, so full attendance at training is essential. We need to step things up for the last few games of this year. Training will continue on Tuesday at 7.30pm in Pairc Grattan.
