Intermediate Championship:
The lads bounced back from their opening round defeat with a good win against Aughnamullen last Sunday in Cremartin. The Grattans pushed on in the second half and ran out comfortable winners by 9 points.

Senior Hurlers still in the hunt for the double:
The Hurlers seen off Monaghan in their league semi final match up last Thursday night. The win sees us through to the final against Surprise package Truagh who against all odds knocked out Blayney in a dramatic Semi Final.
It promises to be a great final with Truagh coming into the match with their tails up and the Grattans on course for the double. Time and dates are yet to be announced.

Missing equipment:
There has been dumbbells reported missing from the gym within the grounds of Pairc Grattan, if anyone has taken a loan of them can they be returned immediately.
If not returned we will have no other option but to change the combination lock and provide limited access to the equipment which of course we don’t like to do. It’s a pity a few manage to spoil on so many.

SFC in Pairc Grattan:
Pairc Grattan was the place to be last Saturday night when lighting struck twice. Both senior championship matches between Carrick/Doohamlet and Maghercloone/Blayney both went into extra time.
Carrick and Doohamlet could not be separated after extra time and will replay again in Inniskeen this Sunday at 1.30pm whilst Maghercloone edged out Blayney in an absolute thriller by a single point at 10.40 at night.
Thank you to all stewards who worked tirelessly into night to ensure that all left the grounds in a safe and secure manner. Can all be at the pitch for 12.30 Sunday for the replay.
