Camogie Notes:
Our Senior gals had a real arm wrestle of a match against Castleblayney in the Monaghan League on Monday evening last in Grattan Park. Inniskeen kept their nose ahead throughout the match with some gallant performances as the youthful Blayney side put it up to the battle hardened Inis Caoin cailini.
Thankfully as the final whistle blew we ran out winners on a 3.09 to 2.06 scoreline.
Training with Eddie takes place this Friday at 8pm in advance on our match against St Kevin's in the last round of Louth League next Wednesday 2nd July.
Also, please keep Sunday 13th July free as we've made it through to the Louth League Final. Venue TBC.
Comhghairdeas to our 30 Camogs and Hurlers who participated in hurling/camogie blitz in Cloghan last Wednesday. We had teams in the u6, u8 and u10 sections.
Underage training continues Tuesdays at 7pm in Grattan Park.
Finally, condolences to senior players Sharon McGahon and Pauline Boylan on the sad passing of their cousin Ailish Boylan recently. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam dílis
