Ulster Journey Continues:
All roads lead to Omagh this Sunday 16th when our seniors take on Fermanagh’s Derrylin in the Ulster Intermediate Semi final.
The Match is once again part of a double header with Clontibret taking on Slaughtneil of Derry afterwards. Derrylin defeated St Pauls of Lurgan after extra time in an epic battle that ended 2-10 to 0-15, where as we overcame a formidable outfit in Cootehill by a single point.
Let’s hope the guys can recover quickly enough from the bruising encounter last week to take the game to the Fermanagh outfit. Please come out in as many numbers as possible to cheer on the lads as they have put everything into this year and let’s hope we can be rewarded with an Ulster Final showdown. Throw in is at 12.45pm in Healy park Omagh, see face book or Grattan text for travel Information.

Pre Ulster Semi-Final Big Breakfast fundraiser:
The seniors held a big breakfast fundraiser in the Social hall last Sunday morning and a huge crowd turned up to support. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you who supported the event as it was great morning’s craic.
We would also like to thank the following businesses for supporting the fundraiser:
Monaghan Co-op, Martin Food Equipment, O’Neills Supermarket, McArdle Meats, BWG, Peter Mc Keown, Mc Geoughs Bar, James Watters, Mc Namess Bakery, Edward Finnegan (Lidl), Inniskeen Social Club, P&B Lynch, Dermott Mc Kenna, Mary Rennick & Seamus Callan.
It would not have been possible to pull it off without each of your assistance.
Once again thank you all for the continued support to our club. See face book for pictures.

Intermediate League Semi final:
Unfortunately our double dream ended in defeat to Donaghmoyne last Sunday at Pairc Grattan. Similar to the championship final, we let them off with an early lead before going on a scoring rampage just before half time. We went into the break leading by 2 points however could not progress through the gears in the second half.
The referee blew it up prematurely at the end with Donaghmoyne wining by a 1 point margin.
It was a very disappointing defeat with some players picking up Injuries; hopefully they will be back in action for the big one this Sunday.

Scor na nOg:
The semi final of Scor na nOg takes place Saturday 22nd November in Ardaghey.  Our young representatives for the Inniskeen Grattan Club are busy practicing for categories; Instrumental Music Group, Ballad Group, Solo Singing, Recitation and Quiz Team.
Come along and show your support for the night.

Development Plan Forum:
Our club has come a long way since its founding in 1883 and we are proud of our standing in the local community as well as the county.
However we have decided to build upon the effort over the last number of years and design a targeted and efficient 5 year development plan in order to bring the club forward to the next level. Our overall goal after this period of time is to be regularly contesting and winning senior championships, whilst providing a happy, safe outlet for hundreds of kids weekly in the process.
The plan will be the building blocks to reaching this Goal; however we want to open this forum to the community in order to brainstorm and share unique ideas.
The plan will be broken down into various Modules; the first will be held this Monday night at 8.15pm in Pairc Grattan and the first module will be coaching & games development.
We ask anyone interested, please come along and share in the discussion to develop our club.

Inniskeen Past and Present:
If you have not seen or heard already, there is a new book just published called Inniskeen past and present. It was written and edited by local man Matt Kearney and takes in all aspects of life in the village right down through the years.
We thank Matt for the wonderful section detailing Inniskeen Grattan’s Journey from foundation and it includes many photos especially a huge 3 page pull out of the All Ireland winning team of 06. The book is a must read for any Inniskeen person, regardless of age and we ask all people to reward the effort put in by Matt and purchase the book, every house in the Parish should have one. They are on sale through the shops, Kavanagh center etc.
Well done Matt it’s a great read.
