Intermediate League Final:
After the long wait, this Sunday will (hopefully) see the final of the Intermediate Football League when Inniskeen and Doohamlet travel to Drumhowan to battle for the Fr. Hackett Cup. A win for Inniskeen will see us return to senior football while defeat would allow old rivals Donaghmoyne to be promoted. Throw in is at 2.00pm in Drumhowan this Sunday, 19th December. All support is welcome as the curtain comes down on the 2010 season.

Bereavements:
Inis Caoin Cumann Lúthchleas Gael, on behalf of its entire membership, would like to offer our sincere sympathy and condolences to the Kelly family and all the friends and family of Brian Kelly who died last week. Brian was a true Gael and was always seen at Inniskeen matches over the years. He was a mentor with several teams in the past and helped to guide the playing careers of many Grattans. He will be sorely missed as a dedicated supporter and especially this Sunday, where no doubt Brian would have been one of the first in the crowd. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dhilis.

Players of the Year:
Congratulations to Seamus Loftus on winning Monaghan Senior Hurler of the Year and Martin Murphy on winning Young Hurler of the Year at the County Convention. A great achievement to cap off a tremendous year for both players.

1806 Commemoration Challenge Match:

Monaghan will take on Louth in a senior hurling challenge under lights at 7.30pm on Friday the 7th January to commemorate the match between the sides in 1806. There will also be a plaque unveiled on the night along with some special guests in attendance.

Fund Raising Draw:
The draw takes place this Saturday 18th December in the Inniskeen Social Club along with the Social Club Christmas Draw. Tickets are now on sale for the draw. The 1st Prize is €5000, 2nd €1500 and there are 10 prizes of €100 to be won. Tickets are €20 each or 3 for €50 and are available from any committee member.

Pairc Grattan Pitches:
The pitches at Pairc Grattan are now closed for the winter in order to allow them time to recover from a long season.
