Appreciation and Awards night: 
A brilliant night’s craic was had by all last Saturday night in the Inniskeen Social Club at our annual Appreciation & Awards night organised as a gesture of our grateful thanks to all our volunteers who help us during the year and also to acknowledge the players and non-playing members who have had a memorable 2015. The adult players of the year for 2015 were: 
Senior Hurler: Martin Murphy 
Senior Footballer: Colm Meegan 
Reserve Footballer: Jonathan Tavey 
Other club awards were 
Scor Ballad Group County Champions 2015: Sean Walsh, Caroline Walsh, Sharon McGahon, Fiona Hoey & Laura Kelly. 
Special recognition Paul Meegan (Anglo Celt Cup) & Donal Meegan (Ulster U21 success) 
Weddings - Christopher & Julie Lennon, Andrew & Marie O'Rourke, JJ & Julianne Smith and Peter & Elaine Dooley. 
Also in a break with tradition we inducted two former Grattan greats Brendan Courtney formerly Drumnagrella and Paddy Duffy Ballyrush into our Hall of Fame, the highest honour that we can bestow on anyone. Comhgairdheas daoibh go léir. 

The Mallon's Monaghan GAA Championship Breakfast: 
Will take place on this coming Sunday 12th June 2016 from 9:00am to 12:00pm in The Hillgrove, Monaghan. Meet your county Heroes! #FarneyFryUp 

Monaghan Electrical IFL: We make to short journey to Páirc Fontenoy this coming Thursday 9th June to lock horns with the old enemy Donaghmoyne at 8pm please note change of date from Friday 10th evening to Thursday 9th June. 
Platinum Tanks RFL: On Wednesday week 15th June we travel to Truagh to play the homesters at 8pm. Silver Hills Food SHL: We take on Castleblayney Hurling club this coming Monday night 13th June at 8pm.

McMahon Burial Vaults & Inniskeen Volunteers 1914-1922: 
Local writer Mat Kearney has penned another book about the McMahon Burial Vaults in the Round Tower Graveyard and the Inniskeen Volunteers from 1914 to 1922. It’s an excellent read and I would recommend it. Its available from all the usual outlets. 

There was no winner of our Pick Four Lotto jackpot of €4,000 for Monday 7th June 2016. The Numbers Drawn were: 03: 06: 15: 27. The lucky dip winners were Barney Kirk, Dundalk, (J Boyle), P & M Keenan, Deery’s Terrace, Inniskeen (C Keenan), Peter & Ellen Kelly Aughrim, Inniskeen. (C Keenan), Richard Ashfield, Ednamo, Inniskeen, (C Keenan), Dermot McArdle. C/O Peter Dooley, (P Dooley). Next Week’s Lotto jackpot is €4,100.

Training Saturday 11-12. 

Training Tuesday 7.15-8.15 & Saturday 11 – 12. 

Training Tuesday evening 7.15-8.15. We play against Cremartin this Saturday 11th June in Cremartin at 12.00. We will meet in Páirc Grattan at 11.00. 

We play Monaghan Harps this Thursday evening 9th June in Monaghan at 7.30. A text for training will be sent out. 

Training with the minors Tuesday evening.
