Well done to the lads on winning the 2 championship final last Friday evening against Aughnamullen. The lads took control from the start. They are out again this coming Sunday 3rd September where they will play Blackhill in Blackhill @ 12:30. Once again great turn out in Pairc Grattan on Wednesday evening. Hope to see the same support in Blackhill.

Minor Football League:
The minors took home the silverware on Tuesday last in Carrickmacross where they had a great win to Aughnamullen. Full Time Score Inniskeen 2-14 Aughnamullen 2-13. The minors made history Tuesday evening as it's the first time since 1964 that Inniskeen have won a minor division 1 title. In a match that the lads were never behind they settled well into the game and took control early on. With scores at a premium due to the poor weather conditions the lads adapted well and lead 1-6 to 0-05 at half time. But Aughnamullen grew more into the game in second half and cut the margin to one with a goal midway through second half. But the lads responded well to get there second goal and put a 4-point cushion again. Only for Aughnamullen to get a second goal and a point to level things with a minute of play left. But the winner came from a brilliant free to prove the last score of the game. As the management take a step back after 6 great years with these lads reaching 8 finals in 6 years winning 5 of them. They'd like to thank the panel for commitment and effort over that time and wish them all the best in the years ahead.
