All Ireland Sevens:
Our senior hurlers picked up their second historic accolade this year as they won the Kilmacud Crokes All Ireland Hurling Sevens Shield Competition on Saturday, 4th September. They defeated three teams and drew with one on their way to the final before beating Eoghan Ruadh of Tyrone by 2 points to claim the Shield.

Intermediate League:
Last Friday, we moved to within 2 points of a semi final place with a 0-13 to 1-08 win over Currin in Pairc Grattan. On Wednesday, our game against Aghabog was postponed. Our next game is at home to 4th placed Rockcorry on Saturday 18th September at 5.00pm. Our other remaining games are Aghabog (A), Aughnamullen (H) and Tyholland (A).

Reserve League:
The reserve season ended this week as we missed out on a semi final place, losing 3-07 to 2-09 against Doohamlet on Monday.

Senior Hurling:
Last Thursday the hurlers suffered their first defeat of the season away to Castleblayney, 2-18 to 2-13. This Thursday, the final league fixture is away to Monaghan Harps at 6.30pm. This Sunday, 12th September, the semi final is scheduled to take place at home against the 4th placed team at 12.30pm.

Fund Raising Draw:
Tickets are now on sale for the Inniskeen Grattans Development Draw. The 1st Prize is €5000, 2nd €1500 and there are 10 prizes of €100 to be won. Tickets are €20 each or 3 for €50 and are available from any committee member. The draw will take place on the weekend of the All Ireland Final.

All Ireland Tickets:
The draw for the All Ireland Football Final tickets has been extended. Enter here, or contact Peter Dooley on 0858406167 or any committee member before 7.00pm on Tuesday 14th September to be in with a chance to win. This draw is for members only. Congratulations to Joe Butler, Paul Meegan, Edwin Harrin, PJ Woods, Kevin Boylan and Fergal Duffy who won tickets to the All Ireland Hurling Final.

Congratulations to senior footballer Niall Lennon and Martina Haggans on the birth of their daughter Kaitlin last week. Best wishes to the new family from Inniskeen Grattans.

Raft Race:
The annual Raft Race which in Inniskeen will be run by Inniskeen Grattans this year. It is hoped to run the event in the autumn time, but this will depend on the water level in the Fane. This year will also see the inclusion of a kayak race. More details to follow in the coming weeks.
