Our Annual General Meeting took place Friday evening last in the Social Club.
The following people were elected; Chairperson Rita Callan, Vice-Chairperson Linda Callan, Secretary Ciara McGeeney, Assistant Secretary Karen Quigley, Treasurer Kathleen McGeeney, Assistant Treasurer Arlene McGeeney, Children’s Officer Mary O’Callaghan, Irish Language Officer Tracy McGeeney. PRO is still up for grabs. The position of Registrar will be filled by the senior team captain. Bronagh Duffy, Alice McGahon, Aisling McGeeney, Paul Meegan, Pauline Jones and Mark O’Callaghan where elected onto the committee. The club would like to welcome new committee members Paul, Pauline and Mark; it is always great to see new faces on the committee as this allows for new insight and new ideas.
As the year progresses and the playing season kicks off  it would be great to see more players and parents alike get more actively involved in the running and support of the club whether it be cheering on the sidelines or working away behind the scenes.

Senior Presentation Night:
Our presentation night for our Minor and Senior team will take place on the 17th February in the Community Centre. The presentation night will be held in conjunction with the Grattan’s. Food will be served at 9pm sharp so please come along early to avoid disappointment. On the night Players of the Year Awards will be presented as well as Club Person of the Year.

Lotto Rota:
19/2 Ciara & Tracy
26/2 Laura & Bronagh
If unavailable to do your turn please make arrangements with another pairing as the tickets must be sold every weekend. All players are reminded to sell 5 tickets a week. Tickets are available each night at training so players please take a bundle and return them before the draw.

Senior training takes place every Tuesday and Thursday nights.
Juvenile training will commence this week, details via the football phone.

Bon Voyage:
Best Wishes to Sharon McGahon who sets sail for Oz in the next few weeks. Captain McGahon will be sorely missed on and off the playing field but somehow I reckon the opposition will be glad to see the back of her. Bon Voyage!

We are in the process of setting up a Facebook page so please watch out for us. We are going to use this as a means of getting out information regarding fixtures, training times and up and coming events within our club.
